  • Notes

Dense, soft, blue-green foliage covers this pyramidal-shaped conifer. Slow to moderate grower, eventually to 12 feet, 6 to 8 feet wide at its base. Cones emerge whitish-blue and age to a deep brown. Attractive to birds.
Makes an attractive accent, hedge, or screen. Does not require shearing to maintain its shape. Slow to medium growth. Prefers full sun and moderate to low moisture. Will grow in nearly any soil type, as long as it is well-drained, including sandy, gravelly, and clay soils. Tolerates heat, including reflective heat. Drought tolerant once established; requires only periodic watering.
