'Hornibrookii' is a low-growing evergreen groundcover, growing 12 to 18 inches tall and 3 to 4 feet across. It has a slightly upward ascending habit, giving it a layered appearance. It has short, sharp needles with a silver-white band above and green underneath. Summer color is a rich silver-green, turning brownish over the winter months.

Grow in any soil that is well draining, including sandy, gravelly, or clay soils, but they must be well draining. Best growth in full sun. Once established, it tolerates dry soils and heat. Avoid shearing.
