An improved 'Silvermound,' with a tighter profile and more spreading habit, 'Nana' forms a low cushion of ferny, silvery-grey leaves. It grows 10 to 12 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide, making it a nice groundcover for smaller areas.
Grow in full sun and well drained soil; prefers poorer, drier soils though will tolerate ones with some loamy-goodness as long as they drain well. Will not tolerate wet, boggy soils. Cut back in late winter to early spring; divide every 3 to 4 years to keep it looking fresh (see Guides).
