Vossii goldenchain tree is a small, airy deciduous tree that grows to about 20 feet tall and 10 to 15 feet wide. It has spectacular chrome yellow flowers that form long panicles in May. Leaves are a bright green with a bluish tinge. Vase shape, with either single or multi-stem. Can be espaliered.
Grows in full sun to light shade in any well-drained soil. Does not withstand standing water. Tolerates high pH. Blooms on previous year's wood so prune immediately after flowering.
