Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

A hybrid of Geranium pratense and Geranium clarkei ‘Kashmir Purple’, ‘Brookside’ displays its deep violet-blue, pink-veined flowers all summer long. Leaves are a soft, deep green and deeply cut. Fabulous weaving about the feet of taller plants. Grows about 18 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Grow in full sun to part shade in well drained soils. Tolerant of sandy or clay soils. If the flowers seem to wane with the summer heat, cut the plant back hard and it may bloom again when the temperatures begin to drop in late summer.
