Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

An open plant with showy, cup-shaped flowers in a loose arrangement. Colors range through the pinks and whites. Farewell-to-spring is an erect or sprawling annual that may grow to 2 or so feet tall and wide. Blooms mid spring to early summer, before the hot weather sets in.
Grow in well-draining soil in full sun to some afternoon shade. Flowering will diminish as the summer warms. Formerly known as Godetia amoena.
