  • Description

  • Notes

The camissa has star-like, slender-petaled blossoms, which are carried on spikes during the late spring and early summer. Its basal leaves are like grass, and dry quickly after bloom. Most species of this plant are native to moist meadows, marshes, and fields in the northwest and in northern California.
In an all blue garden, combine plant with Iris reticula, Anemone blanda, Muscari species, Scilla siberica, Chinodoxia licilae, blue hyacinths, Delphiniums, and Forget-me-nots.
