Water Saving Tip:

Even though it's hot, your lawn only needs to be watered twice a week to stay healthy.

And don't water the whole lawn for a brown spot—drag out a hose.

Basket of Gold is an mid to late-spring bloomer with chartreuse-yellow flowers that are luminous in the garden. Leaves are a grey-green and oval. Plant grows to about 6 to 8 inches tall and spreads about 18 inches; it has a nice trailing habit when planted atop a wall. Use at the front of a sunny perennial border, in a rock garden, or a parkstrip.
Grow in full sun and well drained soils; is tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Lightly shear after blooming to tidy plant and encourage a new flush of leaf growth. Syn. with Alyssum saxatilis.
