Water Saving Tip:

Replace turf with groundcovers, trees, and shrubs. If you have areas where no one uses the grass, patches that do not grow well, or a turf area too small to water without runoff, consider replacing the turf with water-efficient landscaping.

African daisy is a large of annuals with bright, sunny, daisy-like flowers and a creeping habit. The range of colors is just too large to list, and includes solids, bicolors, even ombre-like colors. Foliage is grey, silver, or green, depending on the variety. Leaves are generally lance-like and deeply cut. Grows about 8 to 12 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Blooms spring and summer. Flowers close at night and on cloudy days.
Grow in full sun in well drained soil, preferably a sandy-loam mix. Avoid excessive fertilizer, especially those high in nitrogen. Moderate to low watering requirement. Well suited to pots and containers.
