This fast growing clematis produces profusions of small, 4-petaled, fragrant, white flowers in late spring to early summer. The vine can reach 20 feet or more. Leaves emerge tinged in purple and mature to a bronzy, dark green, Deciduous.
Grow in sun to part shade, in loamy, well-drained soils. It is a twining vine so provide support. Doesn't require pruning, but to control growth or tidy it up, prune after flowering, cutting back by about a third.
